  • Q10. Who created Shruta?

Anshul Gupta and Dr. Manasvi Gupta founded Shruta in May, 2016. Pretty much everyone in our family is diabetic and we’ve seen first-hand the problem of actively managing a chronic condition on top of a busy schedule, no matter at what age. We love criticizing different aspects of the Indian healthcare industry but we decided to actually try and solve a real problem for once.

  • Q11. What's the buzz around the smart glucometer?

The smart glucometer is an incredible device. It’s as easy to operate as a regular glucometer but it plugs into a smartphone’s 3.5mm audio jack. We currently support iOS and Android devices. The glucometer displays the blood sugar value on the phone when used. But since the value is securely synced with the cloud, we can make it available to your doctor, friends and family in real-time and create permanent health records for you.
